It hit the shelves of the Christchurch City Mission to be donated to families across Canterbury.
Christchurch City Mission Logistics Manager Te Ari Simon said it would make a huge difference at a tough time of the year heading into Christmas.
He said they were hugely grateful and thankful for the support from both Southern Pastures and Meat the Need.
